“Information is a source of learning. But unless it is organized, processed, and available to the right people in a format for decision making, it is a burden, not a benefit”.
– William G. Pollard
Welcome
Welcome to my Information Lifecycle iPortfolio!
My name is Audrey Kemzang and I am a student in the Masters of Information Studies (MIS) program at the University of Ottawa. This portfolio highlights the skills and knowledge I developed during the program. You will learn more about me, my learning experience, my career profile and my professional aspirations. It will guide you through the information lifecycle starting with information management, knowledge management, information resource discovery and finally digital preservation. You’ll get a sense of my thoughts and experience at each of these stages and we will conclude with my values and ethics as an information professional. As a francophone, I’ve always considered being bilingual an immense privilege, one that I am most grateful for. Given that bilingualism is one of the core aspects of the MIS program, I chose to present my portfolio in English and French. This way, you can navigate through my portfolio and share my journey in the language of your choice. All you have to do is select your preferred language at the top right corner of your screen. I hope you will enjoy this moment of self-reflection with me and above all have fun!
